What Bible verse(s) is this based on? I've never heard of Brian. Thank you :)

No Bible quotes. It's a parody of a mistaken messiah. Everyone thinks Brian is the messiah. It's an English comedy film. Funny as can be !

The Ten Commandments. Little off Bible story. Love the special effects (1956) cinematography, script, Charleston Heston, Yul Brynner and Anne Baxter and a cast of thousands.

You forgot "Noah", "Stigmata", "Rosemary's baby", just to mention a few based on the Christian beliefs/bible. Of the ones you mentioned "Monty Python" did it best.

They all have their merits. I'm really interested in the time surrounding Christ's life from a historical perspective, so I really enjoyed The Passion of the Christ.

Plus, it was a "bold" movie in many ways... Some parts were really hard to watch, which is a testament to its production, acting and cinematography.

Life Of Brian, or Life of Brain if you are having a senior moment.

But you can't have babies.

Don't you oppress me.

I'm not oppressing you, Stan — you haven't got a womb. Where's the foetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?

A brillant film :)
