Traditionally, Moses is believed to have been buried in Madaba, Jordan. In Deuteronomy 34, we learn that Moses climbed Mt. Nebo from the plains of Moab (present day Jordan) to Pisgah (the hilltop) to behold the promised land, having been punished to not be allowed to cross the River Jordan.
5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: But no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
