If a mans spirit has been reborn of Gods Spirit according to Rom .8:11..2Cor5:17..then his spirit becomes immortal, having eternal life with God. 1Pet.3:4...then when the body dies your living spirit automatically leaves the body and goes to be with God. 2Cor.5:6-8...Ecc..3:21...Luke.23:42,43..Mans spirit is always alive it cannot stay and live in a dead body James.2:26... It has to leave the body it has an eternal destiny , there are only one of two choices for the spirit of a man to go! Read luke. 16:18-31...
