Is Islam Better Than Christianity?

Islam's message was, still is and will always be the belief in and submission to the One True God alone, the Creator and the Sustainer of all things, the Exalted and the Redeemer of all things. The word Islam itself means "submission and surrendering" to Allah [God ], wilfully obeying His commands. Both Moses and Jesus and all God massengers (peace be upon them) were Muslims, since all had conveyed the very same Message - "Submission and surrendering" to the One True God.
Here is the proof from the Bible:
Moses said: ‘"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is ONE Lord."’ (DEUTERONOMY 6:4). Approximately 1500 years later Jesus said: ‘"...The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is ONE Lord." ’(MARK 12:29).
Of course Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) came along approximately 600 years later, bringing identical message again: «"And your God is ONE God: There is no God but He" »(The QURAN 2:163)
The 5 pillars of Islam are:
1. Al-Shahadatan" the testimony that there is no God but Allah and Mohammad is Messenger of Allah,
2. Performing prayer (Salah),
3. Giving Alms (Zakah),
4. Fasting (Sawm),
5. And performing Pilgrimage (Hajj) for those who are able.

The 6 pillars of Faith in Islam are:
1. The belief in One God, Allah,
2. The belief in His Angels,
3. the belief in His Scriptures,
4. The belief in His Messengers,
5. The belief in Judgment Day.
6. And the belief in the divine decree, the good and the bad of it.
So in Islam it is a must for all muslims to believe in all God Holly scriptures and all God messengers too.

No one is better than the other, there is only one God and we are all humans, we all have faults and we are all imperfect. Some do and believe in different things and every one has a different religion, so Islam and Christianity, if they all believe in God then let that be so. People will always be different from each other, so just focus on God only if you believe in his ways.

Yeah 100% because it has a complete way of life you can get rid of depression you will feel peace in your life.. But it's up to you what do you think no one can force you to follow one religion or an other

Look u must understand that when u post a question like this all ur going to get is a bunch of biased answers cuz we as humans naturally dnt want to admit that wat we believe in is wrong Im disappointed about the amount of muslims here claiming that their religion is the only right religion and that Christianity is wrong. The prophet Muhammad ( PBUH ) said to never claim that some1s beliefs are wrong u can however explain ur own beliefs but never force any1 to believe it this is a major form of disrespect Of course if a christian came up to u and said ur religion and ur beliefs that u follow ur whole life are wrong of course u wouldnt be happy with it and wouldnt take easily so y would u do the same.now to the asker of the question i advise u to find out about both religions ask experienced and religious ppl like an imam or a priest, read the holy books, go on the internet but once u have a conclusion do not go out on to the streets claiming which 1 is the right religion keep it to yourself.

Every one calls one god only all the huams r the offspring of adam a.s but as a being muslim i do think that islam is the most peaceful religion in the world and god has been said it even god has  called it the religion of peace so it means that islam is the best religion to know god and meet him to live a life.

Islam IS NOT A FORCEFULL religion plz do me a favor learn arabic and read the quran u can only find the true anwsers in the quran and we pray not for anyone but oursleves by praying we benefit no one but ourselfs islam says "there is no compaltion(force) in religion"

If you don't know already, islam came 600 years after Christianity. Islam claims to revere the writings of all the prophets. Yet, Muslims unequivocally subjugate the Scriptures to the "prophecy" of Muhammad.If you have read both books you'll find that islam does not hold the truth or speak all of the truth it should.

Is Islam really better? No. It does not hold the truth. What about peace? Anybody can be or appear peaceful if they wanted to; and they do not need to cover their heads or pray 5 times a day to be peaceful or better than others.

Islam is better cuz we hav da truth. Its the only religion that makes sense unlike christianity. As a muslim we muslims do believe in jesus but we dont mock him. We dont make statues of him or any other prophets or other peeps. How can u worship an idol that doesnt even hear, talk, feel, smell or even move. Unlike christians, muslims worship god everyday that means we show how much we love him. Most christians arent even religous. What idiot came up wiv if u get baptised you go to heaven and if not hell, you need to earn heaven, become close to god. On the day of judgement God will jugde wether you go to heaven or not. The only defense you have is your good deeds. Plus you cant get rid of your sins that easy you need to earn to get rid of them. When the proof came to everyone in the entire world everyone couldnt handle it. go type the miracles of islam on google images the truth will come up dont think the pics are fake cuz day are not!

As Bible is revelation of ALLAH Quran is also revelation of ALLAH, but Quran is final revelation so methods and ways are changed to Obey ALLAH. But basic concepts are same.

We can find no evidence even for the existence of the Biblical Christ as a single historical figure, and the Resurrection Myth appears to have been created by the Gospel writers some 30-50 years after the death of the Yeshua who was a rabbi and had disciples (and was stoned to death, not crucified). As for Islam, Muhammad claimed to have been visited in dreams by the archangel Gabriel, and those dreams were written down and became the Quran. How crazy is that for the basis of a religion?

No, never will!  Jesus crucified around 33 AD and islam founded in 675 AD.  Islam copied and modified the Holy Bible.  Koran - the book of war, Holy Bible - Book of God and Love.
