The Hanafi scholars consider that only fish (except Hagfish and eel) are halal, but the other three main sources of jurisprudence in this matter do consider that other seafood such as shrimp, oysters and octopus are halal, so the answer is yes, most Muslims will not be concerned about eating shrimp.
