The basic elements of good behaviour are included in Islamic teachings: Behave with modesty, politeness, courtesy; don't insult others, don't back-bite, don't hurl abuses, don't be arrogant or proud, don't cheat etc.

Good behaviour is highly recommended in the Islam religion. According to Muhammad (pbuh): ''Good behaviour is a virtue.''

When asked for which qualities will more people be placed in heaven, he answered: ''Fear of God and good behaviour''.

Good behaviour is referred to as Akhlaq-e-Hamida in Islam.
