I've heard of it. I don't ever remember reading it at seminary school. But it was probably separated because the book was not probably actually written by Enoch.

That is a speculation that i have heard but it is debated by theorists that there is mention of the fall of Lucifer and the fallen angels of heaven, also there is mention of vampiristic persons.
If you have read my answer in its entirety then you will notice that i have stated that none of this is fact for i can't specifically state my sources for reasons that i won't go into but i will mention that i have seen the book of Enoch as well as Nod and Eshua. And there content is disturbing.

You are correct i have been reading up on the topic since we last spoke and it is true it is a fact that it was not written by Enoch. But it IS rumored to have been written by Gabriel himself

The book of Enoch is a book of necromancy. It delves into the dark side of nod or the garden of Eden there are (allegedly) several translations of these books. They are also the factual goings on in the garden in the time if Eden, when god cast Adam and Eve from the garden, Eshua took them in to Nod. Now while in Nod the devil (Eshua) gives Adam the power of eternal life at the cost of his heart, meaning he would be dead for the eternity.

Enoch the great grand father of Noah if i remember correctly during the time of Adam was very influential on the modern day biblical prophecy (of the time) in the fact that most of the prophets were basing there concepts from him, this information is coveted by some say the knights Templar. Which without crossing the line of conspiracy theorist, i won't delve to deep but you get the point, so the church seeing Enoch for a bad seed tore that book from the pages of the old testament and thus the first alteration of the christian bible was done.

now these are NOT FACTS these are just what i have been able to get through older theorists and the sort, i have seen pictures of the book of Nod and read a few soras. I have knowledge that they exist in the Vatican library, no one outside the highest levels of the church can read these texts and most of them are in the forbidden section of the Vatican library (yes there is a forbidden section).
i am told that everything from the roman invasion of Greece to the conquering of Africa are in these sections of the library. A far as the book of Enoch there really isn't much to it. There are only a few passages that relate to the "word of god" so to dumb it down and preserve the faith they cut it out in its entirety, but the reason people like your self know about it is because you are smart and question these little discrepancies and scrutinize them.

in cunclusion the book of Nod the book of Enoch an the book os Eshua were removed because they were the true books of what Lucifer's testimony and Eshua's testimony were, which was how pissed of they were that they werre angels that had no say in what they got to do in their life time or exsistance. The church felt that this was blasphmy in the highest degree so the pope nixed all three books and left it to how you know it today...

To 320iguy Enoch did not support necromancy none of what you said is Scriptural other than the FACT that he was Noah"s great grandfather! Talking with the dead is against God Deut.18:9-12..Enoch was against all forms of idolatry and God would have never raised him into heaven as Elijah was. What you said about Adam and Eve and the Devil giving the power of eternal life not scriptural! But it is true what you said your information from older throrists not fact, scripture is Fact.Genaveve

I'm sure someone else can answere this better than I can but I will do my best! Iam very concerned with Sherna's answere, The book of Enoch is clearly not the Devils thought!! We must be very careful about what we speak against a man of God, and that he truly was! Remember the Holy Spirit was insulted when they accused Jesus of doing miricals by the Spirit of the Devil?. I myself have red the book of Enoch and I loved It and was very inspired it is beautifully writted indeed! Yes some scollars feel that it isent completely inspired but that doesent mean that it is of the Devil! Enoch was a man of God! He was a prophet of God! Jude14..He was a type of the Church!, he was translated by faith!Rom10:17..Heb11:15..Like Elijah he did not see death 2Kings.2:..Heb11:5 He fought adolatry and apostasy! Many writings are written by Godly people but dosent belong as one of the books of the bible that dosent mean that its inspired by the Devil. I suggest anyone to read the book of Enoch it will even draw you the more to God you will see the more who He is through this beautiful writing!..Genaveve

I hope that you understand the fact that the bible was in FACT molested by the Catholic church all through out the dark ages into what you know as the modern king James version. And you can't tell me different because i have a few sources that state this fact in history and books. I am not christian and that is why i can't competently call the bible gods word when even Christians admit to its adulteration. It is historical fact that there is no more of gods word in the bible then there is mine.

You cannot determine facts about the bible from the bible. That is a fact. There is no way that you can use a theory to explain it, it isn't falsifiable.

All non-canonical writings have value for believers as an apologetic tool. Some non-canonical writings have some valuable historical import. Other than these reasons for reading them, we would be wise to use caution. 1 John 4 (the Greek NT) "Divinely loved ones, stop believing every spirit. But put the spirits to the test to see whether they are of God and for the purpose of approving them if they are, and finding that they meet the specifications laid down [as to orthodoxy in doctrine], put your approval on them, because many false prophets are gone out into the world. In this you know experientially the Spirit of God." lastly, the canonical Bible is, for all intents and purposes, our roadmap to the Cross of Christ. And to see that is to be spiritually led by the discernment of the Holy Spirit.

God has nothing to do with this book it was not written or inspired by God the devil has a subtly way of doing things and to make people believe that it is from God when it is the devils own though which is being projected.

Well it's not a book of the Bible. It's a book that has been added to the Catholic Bible. There's no God in this book and others. Their was a time frame when God didn't show himself. God didn't speak to anyone until Jesus was born.

I have read the book and it's inspiring to me as Genaveve said . Well he is not evil and yes 320iguy is certainly right they have done a lot of adding and taking away from the Bible . The word said not to take away or add to it . Now since Enoch is mentioned in Genesis, hebrew , Jude, Luke he had to be good enough for the bible at some point because he is in all these books and WELL LIKED by GOD! It does look like some things they removed GOD did allow for the edification of the believer
