I guess he was thinking ahead. It makes a good plot for a book and quite a few movies.

Why are all these son of god stories so similar?

This piece of fiction's plot line has been repeated over and over again in human mythology.

The question you ask is ill posed,

There's different theories, such as the bloodline of David, but i believe Mary conceived jesus spiritually, since God is a spiritual entity and not physical (this would also explain why she's still virgin). God chose Mary because of her devotion to her faith, the fact she was a virgin (non-virgins were frowned upon, especially unmarried), and she was engaged to Joseph, who could help her care for jesus. but you probably would be better off asking a minister, because people believe different things.

Many stories, that came before the story of the virgin Mary, all had VERY similar parts. Isis (Mari) was impregnated by the God Osiris to have Horus . . . who would later on be crucified and known as the lamb of God.

"There's different theories"

No, just baseless assertion.

"Mary conceived jesus spiritually, since God is a spiritual entity and not physical (this would also explain why she's still virgin)."

Instead of saying you believe this you state this as if it were supported by the evidence. Thus failing the dichotomy between belief and knowledge.

From what I remember it is because of King Davids bloodline that Mary was chosen.

Let me attempt an answer. When you read through the New Testament, you will find two lineages of Jesus; one for Mary (biological) and one for Joseph (royal); both of which are traced back to King David. In the Old Testament, God promised King David that the Messiah would be born of his family line. While looking at Joseph's lineage, there is a problem with a descendant by the name of Jeconiah. He was so evil that God cursed him saying that none of his family would ever sit on the throne, therefore any child of Joseph's also couldn't be king. Mary's lineage doesn't have that curse. So, by having Mary give a virgin birth, Jesus is biologically related to King David. By having Joseph marry Mary, Jesus then gains all legal rights to the throne through adoption, negating Jeconiah's cursed lineage. God is then able to fulfill His promise to King David without the mess of Jeconiah's curse. That is why God chose the virgin Mary to give birth to His son. I hope that makes some sense.

Why?

Well, I've never asked Him specifically, but apparently He had it in mind very early on---Gen 3: 14-15

And the Lord God said to the serpent: Because thou hast done this thing, thou art cursed among all cattle, and the beasts of the earth: Upon thy breast shalt thou go, and earth shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.

I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: She shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.

And miscellaneous:

O truly necessary sin of Adam,

Destroyed completely by the Death of Christ!

O happy fault that earned so great,

So glorious a Redeemer

[found in the Exsúltet (the Easter Proclamation)]

The Latin expression felix culpa (happy fault) is derived from the writings of St Augustine

He might have been horny a friday night in Jerusalem. Or maybe it was just an unwanted pregnancy and Joseph decided to protect her from gossips...

A virgin is to supply Jesus’ human body, for such a birth was foretold. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:22, 23) But why is a engaged virgin required? In order to provide an adoptive father who can convey to the child the legal right to King David’s throne. Both Joseph and Mary belong to the tribe of Judah and are descendants of King David. So the heirship rights of Jesus will be doubly established. (Matthew 1:2-16; Luke 3:23-33) This is why the angel later assures Joseph that he should not hesitate to take Mary as his legal wife, although she is pregnant. (Matthew 1:19-25)

Matthew used the Septuagint version of the Tanakh, because he most likely didn't read Hebrew. Had he been able to read Hebrew and read that verse in context, he would have known that Isaiah 7:14 had nothing to do with 500 years in the future. Verse 10-11 states:
"10 Again the Lord spoke to Ahaz, saying, 11 Ask a sign of the Lord your God;"
Why would Ahaz wait for 500 years for a sign? And Jesus was never called Immanuel, his name was Yeshua. Also Isaiah 7:14 does not say anything about a "virgin" birth, it is a mistranslation of "young woman", if it did say a virgin birth than there would be 2 virgin births in the bible.

Because it was popular Lore of the time . . .

Hundreds of years prior to the Virgin Mary's story, there are other Man-Gods born of virgins.

When one states questions regarding the story of the virgin birth, the follow up answer should always be "Which One?" . . .

What some mystic texts will tell you :- The "house of bread" is the constellation Virgo, the virgin. Hence in Bethlehem, the House of Bread, you will find a virgin, the constellation Virgo. Virgo is always depicted as holding either a sheaf of wheat or an ear of corn. She represents harvest time. As the Sun moves through the Zodiac on it's yearly journey, it eventually passes out of the House of Bread and moves on to the next house. The Sun moves out of the constellation Virgo. Virgo, the eternal Virgin, figuratively gives birth to the Sun, as the Sun passes out of Virgo the Virgin.

Jesus in the bible may represent Pisces the fish. The house the sun had entered into. He told his followers to go to the man carrying a pitcher of water (Aquarius) and meet him there, which is the next age or aeon. The wisemen were astronomers.

Either this is the whole story of the bible, or the bible is telling more than one story and the story of the sun passing through the zodiac and being hung on the cross of the zodiac has been added to it.

Soul fly that is wrong, only Joseph was from the tribe of Judah, david's bloodline. Mary was chosen because of God's will. Maybe God knew that if He chose another woman it would not be good. And because God knew Mary was willing to accept anything God told her.

And how exactly would Jesus be traced back to David through his father if his only bloodline would be through his Mother?
