The content of our dreams is usually affected by everything around us. Sometimes it may be something that we process subconsciously and barely even realised we noticed but more often than not, we dream about the things we were doing throughout the previous day or an event which left an impact on us recently. Not only do we dream about events but we often have dreams that are related to our thoughts, feelings and emotions. If you like somebody and have been thinking about them a lot recently, then it is very likely you will dream about them. This is nothing to worry about as it is completely normal and almost everybody does it.
There may be some subconscious messages hidden in your dreams that you have been thinking about. Often, when a person likes or fancies another person, they will be filled with worry of doubts that the person they like does not have the same feelings. This can be an emotional and stressful time, particularly for teenagers, so it is highly likely some of these thoughts will enter your dreams. Any thoughts which have an impact on your emotions are likely to affect your thoughts and ultimately make their way into your dreams.
Dreaming is a healthy expression of your emotions as you brain works through all of your thoughts and feelings from the day. Everything that you thought, saw, smelt, felt and said is processed through your dreams and gives you the opportunity work things through in a relaxed way.
Try talking to the person you like and have been dreaming about to establish whether or not they like you too. If you find they do, your dreams might come true. And if the dreams do not come true, than this is also normal, so do not worry about dreaming of a guy you like, they also might be dreaming of you.
