I don't believe God created everything - in fact I don't think he exists. I believe man created the concept of God to fill in our gaps of knowledge.

No one He always was. And always will be.

That is so hypercritical if we atheists say the universe just was you think that's dumb and there has to be an explanation.

GOD has always been independent, imagine an entity which was alone with his angels, then he made man, the main purpose of this worlds creation is to see the extent of man, when he is provided with different things in different eras. Man is the only creation who was born without any sort of knowledge NOTHING ! We had nothing when we were born. As one cannot create shapes beyond what he has seen , man cannot create anything unless pieces of it are provided. GOD is the source of knowledge , the one who puts man into test while being independent of it. The one who created the concept of "creating", the one who created communication, the one who created concept. The one who created everything and was independent from the start. He was not created by anyone, he created "creation". I advise you to study your religion thoroughly and look for proof in it, a book perhaps can tell you, religious book. There is plenty more to the world than our forefathers discerned, maybe they were not on the right path. But you can surpass them, try studying all religions thoroughly , every one , give a chance to each and every one ! Look for scientific and solid proof in the religious books.
