In what sense? Being an atheist is more about what you don't do. You don't go to church or other religious services. You don't celebrate the religious aspect of holidays like Easter or Christmas. Though they often celebrate, for lack of a better word, the "spirit" of the holidays. Like the beginning of spring, and renewal of nature for Easter. Or the joy of giving and spending time with family for Christmas.
Most atheists respect your right to believe in any religion you wish. But as with any group of people, there are a few who try to push their way of life on others, and are rude to those who don't believe as they do.
