How Do You Know If You're A Prophet?

Firstly, there are religions & those who claim to hear form God, but if it doesnt line up with the bible, the Word of GOD, then these are just people of the past that are in a way worshiped as a religious leader & prophet. They worship a person who is not alive any longer. And neither did they live perfectly, live without sin, die for them, and raise to life again, as the Son of God did, Jesus Christ. To be a TRUE prophet of the Living GOD, not religion, but relationship must be in place..you will HAVE to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord & Savior. And he processes his prophets. We go thru much troubles & trials, it moulds us, shapes us..for the call..we are marked out. He chose us- I am one. Prophets can get impression, feel led of the Spirit of the Living God. They sense..they see thru..they see thru eyes, into ones motives, at times knowing ones thoughts.They can have contact with one i.e.  Touch hand, or even hear a name, be in touch on phone,etc & sense of what someone is being led or run around by (sensing of what spirit some is of- are they led of God & his wisdom, are they operating out of mans simple reasoning, or demonic spirits-these ARE REAL), they can know who is sent of God, or by the enemy into ones life, For, not all in your life are sent by God, but may be allowed. Prophets are KNOW, sense, feel, are inspired, get revelations, words of wisodm, divine encounters, knowledge, wisdom, hidden mysteries, secrets from God ONLY as God reveals..God reveals things as HE desires, for his purposes, and his prophets will have to grow in him..the gifting is for the Body of Christ, born again believers, and can be used to speak into the life of one who knows not the Living God. A true prophet knows another. There are many false ones out there. A prophet can help you to know what is truly in your life, your blind spots, your future- IF GOD wants to reveal, and there is no consequence for dealing with them, as in the occult. The true prophetic gift is for today, and God gifts as he chooses. If you are one..you get messages for people, you will be set apart often, you will go thru tests, you will be prepared, you will stand alone, more than not, for, you are DIFFERENT..you love others, but, KNOW you are not as all. God will confirm if you are..I find many want a word from the LORD, but if they are entangled in sin, on purposes, they often will be warned by Him, first.. And he reveals to their eyes truth..eventually the word of the true prophet comes true- for, God has truly spoken it. God is a Spirit, he speaks & works thru a people. The LORD does nothing except he reveals it unto his prophets. - I find that many well meaning -even religious people try to explain what we are, when they have not this gift.. If you think you have this gifting:  IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUNG PROPHETS TO DECERN WHO IS WHO AROUND YOU, AND ONLY LINK UP WITH THOSE GOD LEADS YOU TO REMAIN WITH, NOT ALL CAN STICK WITH YOU..AND MANY WILL TRY TO DRAIN you, draw from your gift..and you are not to say all that you see, decern, know, from the LORD- you will be tested to see if you can be trusted with more- God wants to take you to another level. You MUST LEARN MUCH..we are always learning..AND GOD SAYS THAT IT IS VERY VERY WISE TO FIND, LISTEN TO APOSTOLIC  & PROPHETIC TEACHERS (contact me, I'll send you links that God leads me to).  And just cause one says they learn in the prophetic, doesnt mean they are one..there are people whio think they study bible prophecy, and then theres  The PROPHETIC GIFT given from the LIVING GOD, the LORD. If one is a prophet, they will be disastified & discontent in old church ways..most likely, especially if you are of the END TIME REMNANT that is prophetic.. Prophets still exist... And always will exist...

I dreamed visions with disasters years before and to see it come true.like the world trade center,weather disaster.I also feel peoples energy and know their circumstance without them telling me.I used to think it was a curse,but thanks to god that he choose me, and I pray for his wisdom everyday.

If you are a prophet God will reveal it to you in a way that he chooses and at the right time. Pray and ask God to help and guide you. I know that God will reveal it to you in due time.

You know you’re a prophet when you know there a god. You know you’re a prophet when you know the word of god. You know you’re a prophet when you’re serving god first and working and living in accord of the Holy Spirit and word of god. You don’t have to suffer a near death experience; you don’t have to talk to a burning bush to be a prophet of God King Jesus. All you need is the faith of a mustard seed. The God King Jesus has the ability to give a servant of his word the power to lift mountains and rain fire down from the heavens if it pleases him. You must be a humble obedient servant of the God King Jesus to be a true prophet. All true prophets knew the word live in accord with the word. Take up their cross and follow him daily, deny yourself if you truly seek prophecy he will gladly give you the gift.
Prophecy is a gift and a burden. If you truly feel that your chosen by god to be a prophet understand that you will need a tremendous amount of courage, patience and faith. Understand that your power comes from the word of god. Understand that as a prophet you are a servant to god before anything else. Humble yourself, true prophets of the lord most high never used their gifts for self gain. True prophets of God King Jesus put the word and will of god above their own will. True prophets never performed acts of divinity to glorify themselves nor selfishly. True prophets never urged people to be dependent upon them, but instead urged people to be dependent on god for all.  Just like angels prophets are simply middle man and helpers and servants of God King Jesus. Prophets have an advantage over angels because they are able to interact with the physical world and their image will not startle nor cause people to fall and worship them. Angels and prophets are all obedient to the God king Jesus any being or person claiming to be an angel or true prophet will never defile the name of God nor blasphemy the holy spirit.
  As a prophet you have to suffer through the human experience and world of sin. You are to be in the world, but not of the world. Do your best to live your life as God King Jesus did. God speaks directly to those most humbled, and burning with a desire to please him and obediently follow his words and will. His will is the bible. As a prophet you must be intimately acquainted with the will of God. Satan and false teachers twist the word and make true prophecy a rarity. The truth isn’t always a delicacy and doesn’t sit well in sinful mouths. The truth shines light and people who wish to stay in the darkness will hate the truth.  There are multitudes of clamorous seers and false prophets who serve only themselves. False teachers will suffer worst fates then the most heathen sinners, for they know the word and have heard the truth but have turned from it.
Pray to the Holy Ghost to open your hearts and eyes and read the gospels and immerse yourself in the true spirit and will of God King Jesus. Understand what his parables meant. Understand the words of the forerunner John the Baptist. Understand who John the Baptist was as a prophet, and the spirit that dwelled in him. The Kingdom is at hand.

Prophets were generally of two types; those that brought a new religion or significant changes to a religion and those that propagated a previous message. Significant prophets, depending on which faith you belong to, were supposed to be Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad. Some of these are more significant for followers of a particular faith while others are more important to others. Prophets were guided by God or divinity through visions or revelation. That's what religion is supposed to be revelation by God. These revelations came either as dreams, for instance Abraham, Direct revelation, Moses and the burning bush, or through the angel Gabriel, for instance Mohammad. Another unique feature of these prophets was that God sometimes gave them a little divine knowledge or power; examples are the staff of Moses and the healing touch of Jesus etc. If you are a Prophet try and see if you are blessed with either of these abilities. Some people also believe that a prophet has to be infallible or free from sin in order to guide others. Try being a saint, its far more possible these days.

In the Old Testament, God used prophets to communicate His words to the people. The usual appointment or selection of a prophet by God is only one for a specific period of time and purpose.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

All Christians are called to be witnesses for Christ in different ways according to our talents and abilities. John the Baptist was the last prophet. You can serve God as a missionary or an evangelist or in any way depending on your capability.

I luv my father..my creator so much that he is the only one I would die for..

I believe I have the gift of being a prophet because I know things and see a lot and of course,,I asked him for it because at one time I was confuse when I was younger and didn't know what direction to take in life. 

I practically wanted to give up until I asked him to take over my life..I gave it to him but u know that he already have planned on making me the person I've become..

When God starts working thru me ..I start sweating and my and shaking and all of sudden I get this real..

Overwhelming feeling but it feels so good and i just start talking about everything my father puts in my head to talk about to whoever the individual is..

And God uses me for hours.. I can't concentrate on nothing else around me but what's in my head...

I'm so glad God bless me with this type of knowledge..but some people just call me crazy, laugh in my face, but I expect that to happen cause this world is full of false leaders..

And a lot of us is looking to follow the wolf in sheeps clothing...and really be deceived...

It is a hard road, the life of a true prophet of God. Full of rejection, loneliness, and hardship. Yet the spiritual rewards in both this one and the next make even the wealthiest of this world seem stricken with poverty. Those who reject a true prophet's words when God sends them out to speak to a person, those people will be held accountable by God even if they are Christian when they go before Him in heaven. They will be less than what God wished them to be, and they will likely have less than they could have in terms of reward.

At the very least, nothing bad can come from acknowledging and accepting a true prophet of God. Growth in God, wisdom, knowledge, greater understanding, and other things of the Spirit will come to those that listen and learn from such a prophet.

If they're stupid, they will call a true prophet false, or they will reject true prophets, or call them crazy, or seek to silence them or sugarcoat their words and thus lessen their messages. Such foolish Christians know not what they do.
