God gave us free will. Therefore, how we choose to lead our lives is our choice. Some where dealt a better hand than others, but if you don't let ego get in the way of your own peace and happiness you will prosper. No one can answer for sure, why God created man, this earth, etc., etc., but He did and we made it into what it is. Although God is a loving God, I suppose it just wasn't in HIs plan to wave a magic wand and take away everyone's misery. And again, I am not skilled enough to know this answer. Maybe we weren't meant to know this answer. Maybe we were just meant to have faith for what He promises.
As I've stated on this site several times before...I have been through my own personal hell in the past. It was only after I learned to trust and to see beyond what was in front of me, that I could lead a successful life. And by successful I don't mean tons of money, houses and cars. I mean successful in inner peace, successful in love of myself and others, mental stability, compassion and trusting that God has a plan for me.
This life here as we know it is not "the ultimate". We are not here to see who has the biggest house or most pairs of shoes or can have the most power over others. We are just passing through here on our way back "home". And that is what really matters....getting home.
Yes and gives us the choice of choosing your own happiness,everyone is trying to make themselves happy,so when it comes to you it is to get you to do something that will make them happy otherwise before making a decision you would be included by asking me what do I think not just make the decision and expect me to go along with it happy or not if we both are happy togather things will be a heck of a lot better,that is the way god wants it to be,he did not make one superior to the other, he tried that and realize Adam needed a helpmeet Eve...
I changed from being a strong believer to being only spiritual .. I had alot of grey moments in my life I was diagnosed with Anxiety , Depression than later Manic Depression.. I had symptoms of a Pituritary Tumor but the doctors never found one.. I was cheated out of life to have a special woman in my life to love I was cheated out of life to father a child .. Never learned to ride a bicycle Never learned to swim Never had a chance to recieve real love from anyone Relatives were always distant from me , for no reason.. People have pushed me a side when I needed love.. And you ask yourself , Does God care about us ? I love God but this question makes me wonder why he places us through so much pain and misery .. Thats why we go take the wrong road in life Cause we want know why we pray , and we pray But we never get any where in life And We fill helpless?
Whatever you want to believe about god is true. Or it can become true for you. If you think god is a punishing god, then you will see bad things that happen and feel guilty, but if you believe god is a loving god, then he or she,or it will be that for you. I believe god is all things including within us

I do believe that god cares if we are happy. Would you not care if your children were happy? It is the same with God, we are his creations or children if you will, therefor He cares too.
"Obedience is all about power, it is all about God". With our finite, limited understanding we tend to think that. As well, by that thinking, we put a limit on His nature. Also, by implication, it suggests that He is selfish. That is completely antithetical to His holy, wise, loving, and just nature. Hmmm. If we don't make any serious, thoughtful, objective effort to learn about and understand God's attributes then we will always think the worst. I mean, look at what we can base that on - what's going on around us in the world and it isn't getting any better? If we leave it at that then yep, we're in for a long ride. We must take some time to learn about why He wants us to be obedient. Happiness is a state of mind. I choose to be happy, regardless of circumstances or environment. If, before our fall in the garden, we were "happy" then why was that? God is immutable - He cannot change. He cannot improve or get worse because He is Perfection - again, a concept limited by our finiteness. Therefore, God doesn't go from "Hey, I'm happy that man is happy" to "Well, you guys sure screwed up. From now on thou shalt not be happy". And last but not least, when i obey God i am happy simply because it makes me happy - at least over the years i've come to learn, understand and accept that. Sure makes life a bit easier.
Absolutely. God cares about everything that happens in everyone's life. He has a vested interest in all that we do. As far as trials and tribulations, He has a purpose for that. God is all about love for those he created, therefore, He cares about our happiness, sadness, and all points in between.
Sure, we have a very Loving, caring God. God is always there waiting with open arms. "You have not, because you ask not"...Like others have said, we have been given 'Free-will'.... God will not interfere with what we have made a conscious to do-----He won't break His own rules!...The troubles we have in this world are all man-made, and man-kind seems to always blame God for it.....He's there for us, and He will give you rest...
He surely does care if we are happy or not. I don't think he wants us to be unhappy, that is for sure. He has our lives planned for us I know that. I don't like that we are unhappy at times, but, I really think that is because of satan, not God.
Remember John 3:16 that God so loved us that he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. THIS MESSAGE IS FOR EVERYONE. DONT GIVE UP ON GOD BECAUSE HE'S NEVER GIVEN UP ON YOU. We go through misery in life not because of God but because of Satan who is constantly causing problems in this earth. Stay close to our Lord Jesus not because I say so but because I've seen him. You have to form a relationship with him and not blame him for anything. He gave us everything on earth: New birth, the earth, the stars, the moon, rivers, lakes, streams, flowers, scents, fruits, vegetables, clean air, rainbows and we complain when other people mistreat us. So don't blame God. One day you will go to heaven as I did after several near death experiences. He is REAL. I take whatever problems come because they only last a short while and eventually I will be with my father in heaven. God can restore everything. And know that depression, fear, anxiety, etc is NOT FROM GOD. Get to a church and keep on praying. Learn to do things you haven't done before - take a walk outside, go to the park, ride a bike, go jogging, paint , draw and be at peace with the Lord. Remember that angels of God are there to assist you if you let them. Ask and ye shall receive. AMEN and AMEN. God Bless you all..
Absolutely! 1 Timothy 1:11 calls him "the happy God". Therefore, by creating us as humans in his image, the happy God gave us the capacity for being happy too! (Genesis 1:26) The key to "real" happiness is found in God's word the bible. (Revelations 1:3; 22:7) When we read, mediate, and apply what we have read in the scriptures, we in return, receive a full measure of happiness with the hope of a brighter future despite the unhappiness we see in the world today.
Of course he does! Did you know that the Bible calls him the "happy God" at 1 Timothy 1:11 .With us being made in his image it is only natural that he wants us to be happy too! Also look at all he has provided us with to enjoy life. The Sun,the Moon, the Stars, blue skys, good food to eat, all of this did not come about by chance.
