Okay, Ryanna's right. Completely ignore my previous answer. I'm sorry. The Virgin Mary had more children after Jesus.
Of course! He is the saviour, and she is a VIRGIN! She can't of had any more children!
He was not the only child Mary had. www.bbc.co.uk
There's quite the debate with evidence for both sides. Though the bible clearly states that jesus had brothers and sisters the people that claim mary was a virgin her whole life say these kids were from a previous marriage of joseph. There is also another camp that claims that it was a custom at that time to call cousins brother or sister though I've found no validity in that claim anywhere. Personally, I think mary had kids and I think she was not a virgin. There are two seperate hebrew words for young girl and virgin. The one used to describe mary was for young girl. When the bible was translated it was translated incorrectly.
No he has brothers and sisters
The answer is in the following verses from the Gospel of Matthew:
Matthew 1:22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" --which means, "God with us."
Matthew 1:24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
Matthew 13:54 Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. "Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?" they asked. 55 "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? 56 Aren't all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"

Did she have more children maybe.. But she was the mother of jesus! She deserves the title virgin mary because she was a virgin when she had jesus! Its like king henry or king james or ms. Universe 2005! These kings died but we still call them kings. Theres a new ms. Universe but ms. Universe 2005 is still ms. Universe 2005! We cant take away a title that we did not give!!!
None of them were real so its a pointless debate....
It takes all kinds to make a world.
yes.
NO there were other children born to Mary afterwards
No... If you read closely in the bible it talks about jesus having brothers and sister.
Jesus was the only child Mary had as a virgin. She had other children after Jesus, but they were conceived by relations with her husband, therefore she was no longer a virgin.
