I think he would have been here by now if he was coming.

If he hasn't shown up in the past 2000 years I don't think I'd hold my breath.

Gotta love that answer, Tom. Left me laughing. I'm gonna put away the computer for a while. NOBODY is going to top that.

Glad you enjoyed that. That was about the time that The Battle Hymn of the Republic was popular in school. Of course there was a more "vulgar" version which involved the "Lord, coming down the mountain in his little yellow Ford."

One of the verses started with glory, glory hallelujah, teacher hit me with a ruler.....

Too late here for me to sing it out loud.

“A man will meet you carrying an earthen pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he goes in” Luke 22:10.

Men did not carry pitchers of water, only the women did this work,  this is the aion/age of Aquarius, which is what we are entering into having just come out of Pisces.  Before that we had the Ram as Aries, and the Bull as Taurus so on so forth.

Aion does not mean the end of the world, it was used in two forms one for eternal and one for the end of an age.

Aion was also a deity that stood inside the zodiac wheel.

This is also linked to Chronus as a deity turning the zodiac wheel of time. He was also linked to Saturn.

In Ezekiels vision the Cherubim have four faces, one of a man (aquarius), one of a lion (leo), one of a bull (taurus), and one of an eagle, an eagle which is now scorpion (scorpio).  The four corners of the zodiac wheel dividing the seasons.

The zodiac wheel is one of the oldest symbols in history representing time.

Many who's belief directly depends upon His return are hopeful . . . But this hope and this question has been reverberated over and over and over and over though out the years. Many a Christian Leader has sworn that "Their Time" was the "End Times" . . . And all told their followers, that GOD had informed them thusly.

It is merely part of tired myth, but keep your eyes and heads elevated . . . And wonder why, as you slip away, it was not during your life time as many ALSO did over, and over and over and over . . .

Yes indeed! Jesus taught that the start of his kingly rule would coincide with a marked period of time that he called his “presence.” Jesus gave a detailed prophecy to indicate when his presence in kingly power would begin. This time period would be marked by global troubles, including wars, famines, earthquakes, pestilences, and an increasing of lawlessness. (Matthew 24:3, 7-12; Luke 21:10, 11) Jesus is now ruling as King. Soon the time will arrive for the Kingdom to come and cause God’s will to be done on earth.
