Death in a dream usually means die to themselves. That means that they no longer do something they long to stop doing. If that person was driving the car, they are in control. If they were the passanger, the driver is the person that helped them die to themselves (stop something they no longer want to do- like a bad habit). Example: The driver could be an intervention place that "drives them to their destiny" of overcoming their addiction". Car usually means movement of a faster pace then walking in a dream.
