I think it's pretty safe to assume that something's troubling you.

It's unusual enough to have the same dream for five nights consecutively, but when the subject matter is your own death, it's likely that there's something quite significant on your mind.

Why Do I Keep Dreaming About Getting Shot?
  • Shooting is violent and painful - do you fear for your personal safety? Has anybody been threatening or frightening you?
  • A bullet is, by nature, something quite small but which does a lot of damage. Is there anything worrying you? See if you can think of anything seemingly insignificant that you haven't addressed.
  • Do you have a particular fear of being shot? If so, that could be why you keep dreaming about it. Dreams are often thoughts offered up by your subconscious, so if you have a phobia, it's not unusual to dream about it.
  • Have you been watching a lot of violent movies recently? Even an intense game of Call of Duty could be enough to get you dreaming about being shot!
Try not to worry - the more you think about it, the more likely you are to dream about it again. It's very unlikely that your dream is a premonition, so just try to shrug it off and do something relaxing and peaceful before going to bed tonight!

It just means you have a fear of dying...it's either that or you watch way too many horror movies. But most the time when this happens you have the fear of dying or you think someone is out to get you. If you think someone is out to get you it may be true but these dreams are causing it to go further.
