I Have Violent Dreams Often, What Does This Mean?

This is just one interpretation of violence in one's dreams:
To see violence in your dream, indicates unexpressed anger or rage. You may need more discipline in your life. The dream may also reflect repressed memories of feeling hurt.
To dream that you participate in a fight, indicates inner turmoil. Some aspect of yourself is in conflict with another aspect of yourself. Perhaps an unresolved or unacknowledged part is fighting for its right to be heard.  It may also parallel a fight or struggle that you are going through in your waking life.
To see others fighting in your dream, suggests that you are unwilling to acknowledge your own problems and turmoil.
To dream that you are fighting to the death, indicates that you are unwilling to acknowledge a waking conflict or your own inner turmoil.

I hope that helps you out a bit, Daylilly.
(And may your dreams become peaceful now.)

Did something happen at home or somewhere that might be part of your violent dreams? I think you are too stressed out of maybe you watch too many violent movies or horror movies. Just my thinking.

It doesn't mean you have unexpressed anger or rage it just means you probably watched a fight in a movie or tv show.
